Kansas City Rotarian Named Next International President
Today, a member of the Rotary Club of Kansas City‑Plaza—Larry A. Lunsford—has been selected as the Rotary International President for 2027–28, following an extensive selection process by a 17‑member committee of past directors. A longtime Rotarian since 1991, Lunsford holds executive roles outside Rotary as EVP and CFO for the Bernstein Companies. He has received multiple honors, including The Rotary Foundation Distinguished Service Award and the Citation for Meritorious Service. He will succeed Francesco Arezzo (Italy), who is currently serving as the 2025–26 Rotary International President.
